Ankaran - Jurjev hrib

Access to starting point:
From Primorska highway, at the junction Srmin we follow the signs for Škofije and Ankaran, and then we drive on exit Škofije. From the nearby roundabout, we drive in the direction of Ankaran, and then we drive to the center of the settlement, where we park on a payable parking lot.

Path description:
From the parking lot, we walk to the nearby roundabout, and from there we continue in the direction of Italy. Further, we walk on a sidewalk, and by the main road, we walk to Orthopedic hospital Valdoltra, where we continue slightly right on street Vinogradniška pot. Further, we are ascending on the asphalt road, by which there are at first still blazes, after that by a bigger concrete retaining wall we continue on the right road (marked path continues on the left side of the retaining wall). The road here flattens, and a little further for some time it slightly descends. At few smaller crossroads, we continue straight, and at the crossroad of two equivalent roads we choose the slightly right, which ascends among plantation of olive trees. When we leave the plantation, a road branches off to the left, which leads to the near house, and we continue straight in the forest (right road leads to the settlement Barižoni).
When we leave the road we continue straight on a wider forest path (right path which continues parallel with the road is natural learning trail), which starts moderately ascending. Higher, the path flattens and on the highest point we reach an indistinct Jurjev hrib.
From the top, we can descend on the same route, or we can continue straight and then at the crossing near of which is information board for Resslov gaj - Barižoni, we continue sharply right and we return to an asphalt road on natural learning trail.
