Bohinjska Bistrica - Koča na Soriški planini

Access to starting point:
A) We drive to Bohinjska Bistrica, and then we continue driving in the direction of Soriška planina. When we get to a crossroad, where from the main road, the road towards the settlement Ravne branches off to the right, we park on a macadam parking lot by the foot of the former ski slope Kobla.
B) From the valley Selška dolina or Baška grapa we drive on Soriška planina, and then we descend into Bohinjska Bistrica, where we park on a macadam parking lot by the crossroad, where a road towards the settlement Ravne branches off to the left.
C) From Železniki over saddle Rovtarica we drive in Bohinjska Bistrica, where we park on a macadam parking lot by the crossroad, where a road towards the settlement Ravne branches off to the left.
D) To the starting point, we can get to also with a train.

Path description:
From the starting point, we continue on the asphalt road in the direction of Soriška planina, and we walk there past company LIP panel boards Bohinj, d.o.o., and we leave it only a little further from the sign, which marks the end of the settlement Bohinjska Bistrica, namely after crossing the stream Butanica.
Signs for Nemški Rovt from the road point us to the right, on the path which is ascending by the mentioned stream and mostly runs through the forest. Higher, we reach the macadam road which we follow to the right, and there we quickly get out of the forest, at wooden cross we choose wider left road. With nice views on Spodnje Bohinjske gore we ascend to the village Nemški Rovt, where at homestead Pri Polanc we continue right, on the road which descends a little. After "last" house we get to pond, and from there we continue on a macadam road (right Ravne), which a little ahead, at smaller football sports field changes into a cart track. We short time continue on a cart track, and then we go slightly left on a footpath, by which we notice some older blazes, and higher we return on a cart track. Cart track is further a little steeper ascending, and soon it also splits. We choose the left cart track, higher on next a little larger crossing we go right, so that we are further ascending diagonally towards the right. On panoramic part, from where a nice view opens up on Bohinj, we continue left to the edge of the mountain pasture Strmne. Here blazes point us right, but not to walk on too overgrown path, it is better, that we continue straight, where we quickly reach the macadam road, on which we continue. When the road for some time passes into the forest, we go from the road right on a beaten footpath which quickly brings us to continuation of the mountain pasture. We continue by the right edge of the mountain pasture, and when we return into the forest, from the right joins overgrown marked path. A little further, we reach a wider macadam road which only a little further we leave and we continue left in the direction of Soriška planina (straight mountain hut Orožnova koča), and the path leads us on a moderately steep meadow. After smaller cottage path passes into the forest, through which is moderately to occasionally steeply ascending, and higher we cross another forest road. The marked path, by which there are mostly older blazes, then brings us by high voltage power line, by which we are for some time ascending, and further we cross also the road which leads to a saddle Vrh Bače. On this part, the path passes into a smaller valley, and there we lightly ascend to the main road, on which we continue to a large parking lot by the foot of Soriška planina, where there is also bar Brunarica.
After information boards we go right and in few minutes we ascend to the mountain hut Litostrojska koča on Soriška planina.
