Access to starting point:
A) We drive to Murska Sobota, and then we continue driving towards the border crossing Hodoš. In Gornji Petrovci from a little bigger crossroad we continue left in the direction of settlements Kuzma and Martinje. When we get to Šulinci, at the village fire station we leave the main road which turns right and we continue straight on a side road which on the left side bypasses the fire station. When Šulinci end, we soon get to the memorial Balon, and we drive further to the neighbouring village Boreča, where at the smaller crossroad the road branches off to the left towards Sveta Ana (at the crossroad there are signs for the church of St. Ana and sign for catholic and evangelical cemetery). At the crossroad, there aren't any parking spots, therefore we park on an appropriate place somewhere nearby. B) We drive to Kuzma, and then we follow the road towards Petrovci. A little after the settlement Dolič, the road towards Mačkovci branches off to the right. Here we continue straight, and at the next crossroad where signs point us to Boreča we go right. Next follows a descent through Boreča, and lower we notice signs for the church of St. Ana, which point us on the road sharply right (at the crossroad there are signs for the church of St. Ana and sign for catholic and evangelical cemetery). At the crossroad, there aren't any parking spots, therefore we park on an appropriate place somewhere nearby.
Path description:
From the crossroad, we go on a side road in the direction of Sveta Ana and evangelical and catholic cemetery. The asphalt after the crossroad ends, and on a macadam road we lightly descend and we continue along the small stream Merak. A little further, the road passes into the forest, and we go slightly left and we start ascending. We soon leave the forest and from the path a nice view opens up towards Boreča.
The path ahead leads us past the evangelical cemetery, and a gentle road then in few minutes brings us to the church of St. Ana, where there is also a catholic cemetery.
