Brdo - Koprivnik

Access to starting point:
From Škofja Loka we drive towards Gorenja vas, but only to the village Poljane nad Škofjo Loko. Here we continue right in the direction of village Javorje, on an ascending road which higher brings us to the mentioned village. In the mentioned village from where the also the road from Zapreval joins, we continue left in the direction towards Blegoš (crossroads are well marked). The road which then crosses few hamlets, higher brings us to a crossroad of multiple roads (Črni Kal), where there is also a little larger parking lot. Here we continue sharply right and then we drive on a little worse forest road which we follow approximately 2 km. After the mentioned distance we will by the road notice mountain signposts for Koprivnik - left and Mladi vrh - right. Here we park on one of the parking lots by the road.

Path description:
From the parking lot, we go on a cart track in the direction of Koprivnik (ahead on the road - Mladi vrh). Cart track immediately goes into the forest and it starts moderately to steeply ascending on the eastern slopes of Koprivnik. Higher, the cart track crosses few panoramic clearings (a view on Mladi vrh), and then turns a little towards the left, where it is becoming more and more overgrown. The mentioned cart track, by which the blazes are quite frequent, we follow almost to the top. A little below the top, the cart track turns into a footpath, and after few additional strides, it brings us to the summit of Koprivnik.
