Access to starting point:
A) From the direction of Podturn pri Dolenjskih Toplicah we drive towards Črnomelj, just below the top of the mountain pass Brezovica on the left we notice a turn-off for nearby quarry. We take this exit and we immediately park on an appropriate place by the road.
B) From the direction Črnomelj we drive towards Podturn pri Dolenjskih Toplicah and immediately when we drive past the mountain pass Brezovica, on the right we notice a turn-off for nearby quarry. We take this exit and we immediately park on an appropriate place by the road.
Path description:
From the parking lot, we go on the forest road on the right side (opposite from the direction of quarry). We walk on the road approximately 200 meters, when at the power line pole we turn left on a footpath. The path is approximately 5 minutes steeply ascending, and after the left turn the steepness decreases and in two longer, gentle hairpin turns we ascend on a slope. Then the path passes inside and when we step on the forest logging trail, we ascend there for a short time. On the top of the ascent, the logging trail passes into a footpath, here we are also on the highest point of the path. Now follows 5 minutes of descent to panoramic mountain wall. Just before the wall, when we already notice the cross, from the right joins the marked path from Črmošnjice.
The path is easy to follow both in the summer and in the winter.
