Celje - Miklavžev hrib (lookout tower) (via Capuchin monastery)

Access to starting point:
Celje is simply accessible from several directions. We park by the railway station near the bridge over the river Savinja or right next to it. Ideal starting point we will have also if we come in town with a train.

Path description:
From the railway station, we go in the direction of Laško and we cross the bridge over the river Savinja. Immediately on the other side of the bridge we turn right on the road which leads along the river and after approximately 100 meters we turn left, where immediately by the narrow road which runs uphill, we notice an arched entrance with the caption "kapucinske stopnice". We ascend on the stairs, on the top we turn to the left and we circle the building. Behind the building we turn on a grassy terrain and we ascend to the visible beginning of the path in the forest. We are all the time ascending, we go left uphill past the sign, which shows direction (from where we came from) for "monastery", and then we follow the signs for a lookout tower (razgledni stolp). From the forest we come on a clearing with a smaller platform or so-called lookout tower (Razgledni stolp), which offers a view on town Celje and Old Castle of Celje.
