Dubrovnik - Srđ (Way of the Cross)

Access to starting point:
On Adriatic main road from the bridge dr. Franja Tuđmana towards Dubrovnik. The beginning of the path is 50 meters after the turn-off for center of the town Dubrovnik, on the left side of the road.

Path description:
Still at the main road we notice the sign with the name of the path "Križni put" (Way of the Cross). At the beginning we overcome some rocky stairs.
We some time walk on a hardened sand path and for some time we can enjoy in a cold and pleasant smells of dwarf pines.
Before the start of the zig-zag path we once again overcome few stairs.
Hairpin turns start at the spot, where we first time notice the Way of the Cross.
Soon the path opens and offers the first view on the old town center.
The zig-zag path we follow all the way to the top. A very nice panoramic path offers a breathtaking view on the entire Dubrovnik with surroundings.
