Eco farm Magu - Basališče (Paški Kozjak)

Access to starting point:
From the road Velenje - Slovenj Gradec between villages Paka pri Velenju and Zgornji Dolič at the road sign between 5.5 and 6km to the right (and from Slovenj Gradec direction left) road branches off towards the quarry. We go on this road which before the quarry turns left and is then ascending to the mountain hut on Paški Kozjak. Further, we continue on a macadam road which soon brings us to a crossroad, where we continue on the right bottom road (left Jošt). The road then after a short descent brings us to the next crossroad, where we continue left. The road ahead has few more crossroads everywhere we stick to those, which are more "main". When by the road we notice signs, that we are at organic farm Magu we need to pay attention. Here we still drive ahead but only to the next crossroad, where we turn left and we park on a smaller parking lot by the road. To here we can come also from the village Vitanje.

Path description:
From the parking lot, we continue on the road upwards, which from the initial thin forest brings us on a larger meadow. The road crosses the meadow and on the other side of the meadow there is a road closure (a gate). Ahead we are ascending on the road to the hunting observatory, which we notice on the left side of the road. Here we go left on a cart track which after few minutes brings us on a small saddle. At the spot where the cart track starts descending we leave it and we go right on a footpath which is gently ascending on the upper slope of Basališče. This path which mostly runs through the forest we follow all the way to the top.
