Access to starting point:
From Kranjska Gora, we drive towards Bovec or vice versa, but only to the mountain hut Erjavčeva koča na Vršiču, where we park (parking lot is located between 22nd and 23rd zig zag).
Path description:
From the parking lot, we continue on Vršič road upwards, and it makes a sharp right turn (23rd zig zag). Immediately after the turn we notice mountain path, which from the road branches off left upwards and then it is ascending by smaller torrent near the road. Higher, the path joins the road which then past a large parking lot we follow to a smaller crossroad, where narrow road branches off to the left upwards, which after few additional strides, brings us to the mountain hut Tičarjev dom na Vršiču.
