Expano - Soboško jezero (circular path around the lake)

Access to starting point:
We leave Pomurska highway at exit Murska Sobota, and then we follow the signs Murska Sobota - vzhod (east). Before the beginning of Murska Sobota we turn right towards Expano, where we park on a settled parking lot.

Path description:
From the parking lot, we walk past Expano to the coast of the lake, where we continue right. The path ahead leads us on a walking path, which at first leads by a settled beach, and then we get to a motoric park, where we go a little away from the shore. A little further a yellow sign with the caption SURF and SUP klub Pomurje points us left on a beaten footpath which continues by the lake, and the view towards the lake is partly veiled by lush vegetation. The path ahead leads us past the before mentioned club, from where a nice view opens up on the lake, and the path returns to high grass and bushes. After few minutes, the path widens and a little further reaches a macadam road which we follow to the left. We continue on the macadam road which leads below a low embankment, and the path at the left turn passes from southeastern coast of the lake on northeastern coast, where we still continue on the macadam road. On the northern edge of the lake, we reach an asphalt road, where at the gas station MOL we go left.
We continue also past the store Tuš, and then we continue by the cycling path which runs by the main road. When we leave the area of company Pomgrad d.d. we again get closer to the lake, and when on the left opens a passage on a footpath, we continue by the lake. Next follows few minutes of walking and past the cottage Ribiški dom we get to Expano, where we started the trip.
