Gate (Belca) - Visoki vrh (via Bašinov breg)

Access to starting point:
Because of the rockfall access to described starting point currently isn't possible (May 2018).
From highway Ljubljana - Jesenice we go to the exit Jesenice - west, and then we continue driving on a regional road towards Kranjska Gora. The mentioned road, we follow to the settlement Belca and for few 100 meters ahead, and then we will notice on the right side beginning of the forest road which runs into a valley of Belca. Ahead we drive on at first still wide, after that narrower and occasionally quite precipitous forest road. Scenic road which leads us through the tunnel we follow to a marked parking lot by smaller bridge by the confluence of Suhi graben and stream Beli potok.
If we continue driving over a bridge after which is green gate, it can happen, that it will be locked on the way back.

Path description:
From the parking lot, we continue on the road, and it immediately crosses a bridge, behind which is situated green gate. The road soon starts ascending steeper by scenic stream Suhi graben. Higher, we ascend above nice waterfall, and the road a little further brings us to a crossroad, where we continue on the left road (right Kepa).
The road continues moderately ascending, and at all crossroads we follow the "main" road. A little higher road leads past the forestry cottage and a little higher past a trough with water. The road which has some smaller crossroads we still follow on "main" road, and after the last sharp right turn it brings us to a smaller crossing by which there is usually situated a smaller cairn. Here the path on Mojstrovica over Bašinov breg branches off to the left. We go on the mentioned cart track which ascends steeply through the spruce forest. A little higher forest gets thinner, so that a nice view opens up on Kepa, and the cart track then brings us to a smaller crossing. We continue on the left (possible also right), which a little higher slightly descends and passes on steep slopes. When the cart track again starts ascending, we leave it and we continue right, where after few 10 meters of ascent we step on an ample grazing area of the mountain pasture Bavhe.
Further, the route of the ascent is clear. We just continue on a grassy slope straight upwards, "path" higher brings us to a small lake (watering place for animals), by which we also step on a well-beaten path.
We follow the mentioned path to the left, and it ascends diagonally through grazing slopes. A little higher we step into the forest, where the path flattens, and after few minutes of additional walking, we get to a smaller crossing, where from the right side joins the path from the top of Mojstrovica. We continue straight, where we step out of the forest on a gentle grassy slope. There we ascend few 10 meters and then on the right side we notice a wide path, which turns to the right and crosses relatively steep slopes. When we cross the mentioned part of the path, it turns left and further leads on a panoramic moderately steep grassy slope. After that, the path passes into a lane of thin forest surrounded by dwarf pines. Next follows a short crossing, and then the path steeply ascends and it quickly brings us to the summit.
In fog the orientation in the upper part is relatively difficult.
