Access to starting point:
A) From the direction of Podčetrtk or Bistrica ob Sotli: in Prelasko along the main road between both mentioned settlements we turn towards the west: direction Kozje. When we drive past Buče and get closer to Vrenski Gorci, we pay attention to the roadside bus stop, where on the bus shelter it is clearly written "Gruska jama". Immediately after the bus stop we turn around "by 180 degrees" and drive to the rest area behind the bus stop on the opposite side of the road. At the rest area we park in a suitable place.

b) From the direction of Kozje: at the roundabout, which next to the industrial zone at Kozje "cuts" the main road between Šentjur and Podsreda, we turn towards the northeast: direction Prelasko. When we drive past Ješovec and get closer to Vrenski Gorci, we pay attention to the roadside bus stop, where on the bus shelter it is clearly written "Gruska jama". A little before the bus stop on the same side of the road we drive to the rest area behind the bus stop. At the rest area we park in a suitable place.
Path description:
Warning 1:
Part of the path by the left bank of the stream runs on very narrow and very steep stairs, walking on this part is not recommended if we have vertigo or our legs do not allow us to walk on stairs. We can still reach the spring on a relatively gentle path on cart tracks by the right bank of the stream (see first part of the description below) and return on the same path.

Warning 2:
As mentioned, by the left bank of the stream the path is very narrow, therefore meeting is very difficult. During "busier" hours, which can be deduced from the number of parked vehicles at the rest area, it is recommended that all visitors follow the same direction, at least on the part of the path by the left bank of the stream.

Path description:
==========

The arrow under the information board at the rest area recommends that we go right, i.e. in the counterclockwise direction. So we go along the road towards Kozje and after a few meters turn left onto the first cart track. While walking on the cart track we pay attention on the left side not to overlook the post with an arrow, which directs us left again. On the path by the edge of the forest we reach the footbridge over the stream and cross it. Here the official part of the path actually begins, because from here on it is sprinkled with wood chips (or wooden remnants from the saw), and along the path there are also some educational boards. Initially fairly flat path leads us to a fork, where we can go left on a "dead-end" and still fairly flat section all the way to the spring under the 30-meter wall. From the spring we return back to the fork, here begins the section on very steep and narrow stairs, which is secured with a steel cable railing. Somewhere on the path towards the top follows another "dead-end" branch left to Puščavnikova jama. The path there is otherwise flat and likewise secured with a steel cable railing, but narrow and carved into an almost vertical wall, so it is not recommended for visitors with vertigo. From there we return back to the fork and continue on still steep stairs all the way to the top. The path ends at the exit from the starting rest area, which is on our left.
