Hruševo (Log) - Sveti Jurij (Hruševo)

Access to starting point:
A) Primorska we leave the highway at exit Brezovica, and then we continue driving in the direction Dobrova and Polhov Gradec. Further, we drive through the valley of Gradaščica, and follow the main road towards Polhov Gradec past the inn Kramarjev hram, where there is first turn-off of the road to the left towards Hruševo, to the second turn-off of the road to the left towards the settlement Hruševo, which is few 100 meters ahead. At the second turn-off we turn left, we cross Gradaščica and then we park on an appropriate place near the fire station. The most appropriate place is immediately after the bridge, in front of fire station is prohibited to park.
B) From Ljubljana ring road or Gorenjska highway we go to the exit Ljubljana (Podutik), and then we continue driving towards the mentioned area of Ljubljana and further towards Dobrova. After Preval, where a road towards Toško Čelo branches off to the right, the road starts descending, and we are driving there to the spot, where we reach the main road Dobrova - Polhov Gradec. The mentioned road, we follow right in the direction of Polhov Gradec. Further, we drive through the valley of Gradaščica, and follow the main road towards Polhov Gradec past the inn Kramarjev hram, where there is first turn-off of the road to the left towards Hruševo, to the second turn-off of the road to the left towards the settlement Hruševo, which is few 100 meters ahead. At the second turn-off we turn left, we cross Gradaščica and then we park on an appropriate place near the fire station. The most appropriate place is immediately after the bridge, in front of fire station is prohibited to park.
C) We drive to Polhov Gradec, and then we continue driving towards Ljubljana. A little after the village Hrastenice, we will get to a crossroad, where a road towards the settlement Hruševo branches off to the right. We turn right over the river Gradaščica and then immediately after the bridge we park on an appropriate place near the fire station.

Path description:
From the starting point, we continue on the asphalt road which on the left side bypasses the fire station and a little ahead brings us to the settlement of some houses. Through the hamlet we continue on the main road which a little further for some time slightly descends, after that with a view towards today's destination and surrounding hills starts moderately to steep ascending. Higher asphalt road brings us to the next houses, where by the road we notice a chapel, and we leave the main road about 20 meters before a chapel and we continue sharply right, on a cart track which leads towards the church of St. Jurij.
Cart track is at first quite gently sloping, after that with a view on the surrounding hills starts moderately ascending. After few minutes of additional ascent, we reach the peak, on which stands already mentioned small church.
