Jasna - Ciprnik (via Mojčin dom)

Access to starting point:
A) First, we drive to Kranjska Gora, and then we continue driving towards Vršič. Already soon after that, when Kranjska Gora ends, we cross a river Pišnica and only few 10 meters further we turn right on a larger parking lot, where we park by the lake Jasna.
B) We drive into Trenta, and then through mountain pass Vršič we drive towards Kranjska Gora. When we get to the lake Jasna we park on a large macadam parking lot by the lake (parking lot is located on the left side of the main road).

Path description:
From the parking lot for few steps we walk by the road in the direction of Kranjska Gora, after that behind a smaller dam we continue left by the gravel terrain of Pišnica. The path ahead leads us on concrete embankment, and then we pass over in the forest, through which we start ascending. At the beginning path leads ast past more crossings, and we follow the signs for Vitranc or Ciprnik. A little higher we get to a crossing, where in the direction of straight used to continue path to Mala Pišnica (path is damaged, impassable, dangerous and therefore closed), and we continue right and start ascending steeper in zig-zags. For some time we are ascending relatively steeply, and then the path turns right and crosses slopes of Vratnik (Vratnik is part of the eastern ridge of Vitranc). Further, we again ascend in few hairpin turns, and then we get to a crossing, where we continue left, steep upwards (if we continue straight we get to Kranjska Gora ski slopes, also from there it is possible to ascend on Vitranc). Next follows a very steep ascent, and then we reach the main ridge of Vitranc, where the path turns right and continues on or slightly by the ridge. The path ahead is most of the time still pretty steep, and higher the steepness decreases. Even a little further, the path avoids the ridge to the left and flattens, so that we reach the mountain hut Mojčin dom gentle to moderate ascent.
From Mojčin dom, near of which there is also a decaying mountain hut Dom na Vitrancu, we continue straight to few 10 strides distant crossing, where from the right side also the path from Kranjska Gora joins.
Again we go straight in the direction of Ciprnik, where the path leads also past decaying one-seater chairlift Vitranc II.
(One seater chairlift Vitranc II is the oldest one-seater chairlift in Slovenia and one of the oldest in the world because it is from a year 1958. Few years back it was still safe to go with it to Vitranc, but today it doesn't have an operating permit anymore).
The path continues on the ridge of Vitranc with some shorter ascents and descents, and then we get to the spot, where from the right joins also the path from Planica.
We continue straight on a gradually more and more steep path, which higher out of the forest brings us into a lane of dwarf pines. Steep path, by which further we have some fixed safety gear, which aren't necessary, then leads us all the way to scenic Ciprnik.
