From Kranjska Gora, we drive towards the mountain pass Vršič but only to Jasna, where there is also settled a parking lot (immediately after the end of the bridge over Pišnica right). Here we park.
Path description:
From the parking lot, we turn and we carefully cross a busy road. We go on an asphalt road upwards, we follow it past all cottages and we soon get to a macadam. We walk there all the time straight and we don't turn left, until at the right turn we come to a torrent, here left next to it we ascend on a footpath which is visible, but we also get a help from a cairn. The path starts ascending through the spruce forest and in few minutes we leave the riverbed and we turn left through the forest. The path from here on is all the time steep and it is increasing with height. In zig-zags we come on the ridge, where there is a pleasant viewpoint. Hunting path higher becomes even steeper and brings us on a plain in the forest, where we meet signs of famous path PP (path Planica - Pokljuka). From here on, the path is even steeper rising and is gaining altitude. Forest slowly passes into dwarf pines with low dwarf pines, which adds some strain to an ascent. Peak unlike the ascent shows nice views of Martuljek mountains.
