Kambreško - Globočak

Access to starting point:
From Nova Gorica, we drive towards Tolmin or vice versa, and we follow the road to the settlement Ročinj, where signs for Kambreško point us to the left (and from the direction Tolmin to the right). After 4 km we come in Kambreško, and at the crossroad in the middle of the village we turn right towards Srednje and Livek. Only few meters ahead we park on an appropriate place by NOB monument. At the starting point, there aren't any parking spots.

Path description:
Near the NOB monument we notice signs for path on Globočak, which point us on a side road which ascends through the village. Above the village, the road ends, and we continue on a grassy cart track, on which we quickly get to nicely settled signposts for Globočak (a sign is situated on a smaller hayrack, but unfortunately shows wrong direction).
From the sign, we don't continue right as shows arrow, but we continue the ascent straight upwards by the edge of the forest. Considerably overgrown footpath, then passes into the forest through which is ascending gently. A little higher we step on an old cart track, on which in a moderate ascent we ascend to the second wider cart track, and we follow it to the left. We short time continue on the mentioned cart track, and then signs for Globočak point us to the left on a gradually increasingly steep footpath. Higher, we ascend past a smaller cavern, then the path leads us over short very steep slope, where there is mainly in ice dangerous for slipping. The path ahead quickly flattens and brings us on a forested ridge of Globočak, where joins the path from Srednje. Here we continue right and after a minute of additional walking, we get to forested peak.
From the top, we can in few minutes descend to two nearby cavern.
