Okrog pri Motniku - Vivodnik (via Oseke and peak Drč)

Access to starting point:
A) First, we drive to Kamnik, and then we continue driving on a regional road through Tuhinjska dolina. Only a little after the village Laze v Tuhinju, we will get to the gas station, by which a road branches off to the left towards the villages Golice, Češnjice v Tuhinju and Okrog pri Motniku. Here we turn left and on a somewhat narrower road we quickly reach the settlement Češnjice v Tuhinju and a few 100 m after the mentioned settlement also to the village Okrog pri Motniku, where the described path begins. We park on an appropriate place by the road before or after the village.
B) From the highway Maribor - Ljubljana, we take the exit Vransko, and then we continue driving in the direction of Kamnik. In the settlement Špitalič we take the second turn-off to the right, where we notice signs for Menina planina and Okrog pri Motniku. After the nearby church we continue left, and then on a narrower road we start ascending towards the settlement Okrog pri Motniku. When higher up we reach the main road which leads from Češnjice v Tuhinju towards Menina planina, we are at the beginning of the described path. We park on an appropriate place by the main road, above or below the village.

Path description:
From Okrog pri Motniku, on the part where the main road from Češnjice v Tuhinju joins the steep road from Špitalič (by the crossroad there are signs for Okrog house numbers 1, 2 and 3), from the main road we continue left on a local road which ascends among houses. On one of the houses we notice a blaze, and above the village on an unmarked crossing of cart tracks we continue on the left one, which ascends diagonally above the village. For a short time we ascend diagonally towards the left, after that the cart track turns right and after a few minutes brings us to the road which leads towards Menina planina, and we follow it to the left, along which we quickly arrive at a marked crossroad, where we notice the first signposts by the path.
From the mentioned crossroad, we continue on the left road in the direction of the mountain hut Dom na Menini planini over Oseke and the peak Drč (right Biba planina and Dom na Menini planini over Biba planina). The road, which further ascends diagonally, quickly brings us into a belt of forest, and after a few minutes we leave it and pass onto a panoramic grassy slope, from which a view opens up that in good weather reaches all the way to Bjelolasica and Snežnik. When on the left side the grazing fence ends, a cart track from Češnjice v Tuhinju joins from the left, and we continue right on a quite steep cart track, along which we quickly arrive at the cottage Kovran, where the cart track turns a little to the left. Next follows a diagonal ascent towards the left, after which we arrive at a crossing, where straight ahead a short path continues to the nearby cottage, which is located at the edge of a larger mountain pasture, and we continue right and further ascend along the grazing fence. Higher, at the hayrack we continue on the second turn-off right and continue ascending along the grazing fence, and from the path a nice view opens towards Kum. After a few minutes of steep ascent we cross the grazing fence, the cart track which widens also flattens. We continue on the wider cart track, which continues among pastures, crossing several fences placed across the cart track. A little further, by the path we notice even some old blazes, behind which we join a worse road, which we follow upwards. After about a minute of further walking we reach a wider road, and we follow it left in the direction of Tuhinj (right Biba planina). On the wider road we walk a few minutes, then at the beginning of the left bend we continue slightly right onto the forest road, along which we moderately ascend through the forest. When the road brings us out of the forest we arrive at Česenska poljana, where the road turns into a cart track, which in a gentle descent brings us to a crossing, where we join the marked path Golice - Dom na Menini planini.
We follow the mentioned path to the right, and further at several crossings we follow the blazes. When higher up the forest thins again we arrive at a marked crossing, where the path splits into two parts. The right path leads to Vivodnik, the left one bypasses the mentioned peak and leads directly to the mountain hut Dom na Menini planini. We continue on the right path, along which with occasional views we quickly arrive at the highest peak of Menina planina, where a smaller wooden lookout tower stands.
