Parje - Primož

Access to starting point:
From highway Ljubljana - Koper, we go to the exit Postojna, and then we continue driving in the direction of Ilirska Bistrica. When we get to Pivka, we leave the main road towards Ilirska Bistrica and we continue driving in the direction of Knežak. Further, we drive through Radohova vas, to the village Parje, where we park on an appropriate place by the church or nearby sports field. At the starting point, there aren't any parking spots.

Path description:
From the church, we return few meters back towards Pivka, and then we go towards the west on a narrower road which starts gently ascending through the village. Through the village we continue straight, and the asphalt road after the "last" house in the village changes into rocky macadam road. The road is further gently ascending through a lane of bushes and it brings us to the unmarked crossroad, where we continue right. The road then from bushes passes over by the edge of ample and fenced pastures. A little higher we get to the next crossroad, by which we notice signs for Pivka. We continue in the direction of Pivka and after few minutes of additional walking, we reach the marked footpath Pivka - Šilentabor.
Here we continue right and through panoramic meadows we follow otherwise occasionally rare blazes. The path higher brings us into a lane of bushes, and there we diagonally ascend to a marked crossing, where the path from Pivka joins.
Here we step on a worse road which we follow upwards, and it quickly brings us to old Italian fortresses on Primož. Here we continue sharply left, where after few 10 strides we get to a crossing, where a short path branches off right to the summit.
From the top, we return to the mentioned crossing, and then we continue on a circular path, on which we in 10 minutes return to the road.
