Access to starting point:
First, we drive to Mozirje, where at the roundabout we go in the direction of Golte and Šmihel. A little further, we come to an intersection at the inn, where we turn slightly right in the direction of Šmihel (left Golte cableway). We follow the road ahead to the village, where on the right side of the road we notice a church. Just a little further, we come to the intersection, where we turn left in the direction of the mountain hut Mozirska koča, Golte (Here the road from the Koroška side joins from the right, by which access is possible for Carinthians). The road then soon brings us to the next intersection, where we turn left onto the lower road. The road then soon becomes gravel, and we follow it to the large parking lot before the barrier. The parking lot is on the right side of the road and is partly overgrown with grass.
Route description:
From the parking lot, we continue along the road next to which we parked. We cross the barrier and climb up the road, which soon brings us to the sharp right turn where there are signposts. We continue right and the road brings us to the junction at the Alpine garden (flowers). We continue straight in the direction of the mountain hut Mozirska koča. Further on, the road starts to descend slightly and brings us to a large meadow on which a chapel stands. From here to the hut, we have only 100 m of walking left.
Along the route: Alpski vrt (1380m)

In August I went along the path on Golte. Well marked and nice weather made for a nice trip. Problems are only with people. At Mozirska koča I wanted to have a snack - but no info what they have and prices, and the owner complains he's tired. Just need to put out a menu board. So I went to the parking lot where there's a hut selling small items and drinks. There the owner was under an umbrella in the shade drinking beer and eating roasted corn with a friend - the other umbrellas for guests were on the ground. Of course he had no guests. So I have the feeling that on Golte the innkeepers care mainly for themselves.

Dverbnik is just a regular blind man who doesn't understand mountaineering. Mozirska koča can offer a lot to honest and cheerful people, to those who drink one coffee though you can just wish nice day. In the alpine garden the keeper also cares for friendly people, for those who occupy the best shade, eat their sandwich and look sullen though not worth worrying. Dverbnik next time better go somewhere else!
