Podljubelj - Zavetišče na Kalu (via Javorje)

Access to starting point:
We leave Gorenjska highway at the junction Podtabor, and then we continue driving towards Ljubelj. After approximately 6 km of driving from Bistrica pri Tržiču, we get to a crossroad, where we turn right into Podljubelj, and at the crossroad 30 meters ahead we go right, and then we park on an appropriate place near the succursal primary school Podljubelj.

Path description:
Opposite the primary school signs for Kal and Kofce point us to the left on a side road which starts ascending. After some houses, the road passes into the forest and then a little higher it turns right. At the mentioned turn in the direction of straight continues the marked footpath, and we continue on the road which loses an asphalt covering. Higher, the road leads us through the hamlet Reber, where at the crossroads we continue straight, and even a little further, near the homestead Javorje, the road splits into three branches.
We continue on the left upper road which ascends to the near hunting cottage, and a little before the hunting cottage we continue left on a cart track which through the meadow passes into the forest. Through the forest at few smaller crossings we continue straight, and higher, on a smaller saddle also the path from the hamlet Reber joins.
Here we continue straight as well and we start ascending steeply, and during the ascent, we notice some of rare blazes. Higher, we get to the saddle between Vrša (1141 meters) on the left and Kobel (1203 meters) on the right, and then we continue on a cart track which is mostly lightly descending. Few minutes ahead the forest ends and the path brings us to a crossing on Kal.
We continue in the direction of Kofce (left - Podljubelj, right - Dolina, sharply right - Završnik), and after few 10 strides, we get to the cottage Zavetišče na Kalu.
