From highway Ljubljana-Celje we go to the exit Zagorje and we drive to a roundabout in the center of the town, where we go in the direction of Prapreče. We drive on the main road, and we turn in the direction of Čemšenik. We drive past Europark and after Europark we turn in the direction of Potoška vas. On a zig-zag road we get to the juncture with the road which comes from the direction of Trbovlje or Klek and at that juncture we park.
Path description:
From the parking lot by the road before the spot for garbage containers we turn right into the forest. We get help from blazes and wooden stairs. We follow the blazes through the forest until we come out of the forest to the farm. We go past the farm steeply uphill and on the macadam road above the holiday cottages into the forest. We follow the forest path to the caption on the tree for Planina (badly marked). From here on, the blazes are gone, therefore we follow a beaten forest path upwards, like if we would walk on "trough". After approx. 20 minutes we join the marked path, which comes from the direction of Trbovlje. We follow the blazes and higher we again step out of the forest, where in front of us we already notice the church of the Holy Mary and a little further inn Gostilna Planina. From the inn or the church, to the top of Sveta planina separates us only a short ascent.
