Access to starting point:
A) From highway Ljubljana - Koper we go to the exit Kozina, and then we drive on the old road towards Koper. When on the road we get below the viaduct of highway, we turn left in the direction of the settlement Prešnica. In Prešnica we notice the first blazes, and through the village we follow the blazes. At the smaller crossroad in the village we go right in the direction of marked parking lot (straight marked path on Slavnik), to which we have a little less than 500 meters of driving on a narrower asphalt road.
B) From highway Koper - Ljubljana we go to the exit Kastelec, and then we drive on the old road in the direction of Kozina. The road then leads us past the settlement Petrinje, and approximately 2 km after the settlement from the crossroad below the viaduct of highway we continue right in the direction of the settlement Prešnica. In Prešnica we notice the first blazes, and through the village we follow the blazes. At the smaller crossroad in the village we go right in the direction of marked parking lot (straight marked path on Slavnik), to which we have a little less than 500 meters of driving on a narrower asphalt road.
Path description:
From the parking lot, we return to Prešnica, then from the crossroad, where the path branches off to the right on Slavnik, to the left continues main road, we continue straight upwards, on a narrower road which goes past the chapel, which is carved into a wall of the house. From the road which ascends to the last house, a nice view opens up on the bottom part of the village with the church of St. Jedrt, and from the last house we continue on a cart track, and a little further we join the other cart track, on which we quickly ascend to a railway track. Quite busy railway track we carefully cross and on the other we are for some time still ascending on a cart track. Higher, we reach the macadam road which we follow to the right, and at the nearby crossroad, we go left in the direction of the hunting cottage (lovska koča). The road becomes a little steeper, and we follow it all the way to the hunting lodge below Glavica.
