Access to starting point:
From Mežica, border crossing Holmec or Ravne na Koroškem, we drive to Prevalje, where between the stores Hofer and Eurospin, at the inn Gostilna Brančurnik, we turn onto a side road which continues towards the south. At the spot where we leave the main road, there are located signposts for Uršlja gora, and we park only a little further on a larger macadam parking lot.
Path description:
From the parking lot, we continue right, on the road in the direction of car service Godec. The road first over a bridge crosses the stream Barbarski potok, and then still before the first house we leave it and continue slightly right on a beaten footpath. At the smaller crossing, we go right and start to ascend steeply through the forest. After a few minutes, we join a gentle path, and along it in a few 10 steps of further walking we arrive at the church of St. Barbara in Zagrad.
