Ravenska Kočna - Vellacher Turm/Storžek (hunting path)

Access to starting point:
From highway Ljubljana - Jesenice we go to the exit Kranj - vzhod and follow the road ahead in the direction of Jezersko. In Zgornje Jezersko only a little behind the gas station, we will notice a road which from the main road branches off to the right (direction lake Planšarsko jezero). The road then leads us past the mentioned lake and behind it for a short time steeply ascends. Higher, the road flattens and at the beginning of a large meadow loses an asphalt covering. We then follow the macadam road to a larger marked parking lot.

Path description:
From the parking lot, we continue on a macadam road following the signs »Češka koča, Ledine« and after approximately 15 minutes of walking, we come to a cargo cableway.
From the former parking lot, we go on the path which runs on the left side of the cableway on Ledine (bottom station of the mentioned cableway in June 2015 burned down). The path ahead at first runs through the forest, but soon passes into dwarf pines, where it is ascending gently by the edge of mighty torrent. The path this torrent follows all the way to the beginning of steeper part of the path. The path then steeply ascends, and we also get help from some steel cables, with the help of which we ascend a level higher (in wet dangerous for slipping). Difficulties then decreases and the path continues steeply ascending, mostly on the northern slopes. After an hour and a half of walking, we come to a pleasant resting place, where there are bench and table. Near the resting place, which is also nice viewpoint, is situated memorial plaque in the memory of victims of helicopter crash. From here ahead to the hut, which we reach after good 20 minutes of additional walking, there isn't any technically demanding spots.
From the mountain hut, we continue left towards the east in the direction of Ledinski vrh, Mrzla gora and Rinke. The path which is at first quite gentle in few minutes brings us to a crossing, where we go on the right path (left climbing path on Babe). The path ahead only slightly becomes steeper and it brings us to a little harder passage over rocky passage. Here is a steel cable for help, but the passage in dry isn't difficult. The path then brings us on a wide slopes below Ledinski vrh from which there is a nice view towards the glacier below Skuta, which we can see on the right side. The path then in a moderate ascent brings us on a saddle Jezersko sedlo, which borders on neighbouring Austria.
From the saddle Jezersko sedlo we continue right in the direction of saddle Savinjsko sedlo, which we reach after approximately 15 minutes of diagonal walking.
From the saddle Savinjsko sedlo we continue sharply left (right Okrešelj and Mrzla gora) on the path which starts descending towards the valley of Belska Kočna. After few minutes of descent, we will on the left side of the path notice a large caption on the rock “Klettersteig”. Here we leave the path towards the valley of Belska Kočna and we go left upwards on a little less beaten footpath. The path which is further marked with red dots, soon brings us to the entry of a climbing part of the path. Climbing path at first with the help of steel cables and stemples crosses a steep eastern slope of the mountain towards the north. The path then turns to the left and steeply ascends by the steel cable upwards. Later, the path brings us on a steep partly grassy slope, where caution is needed because the path is often slippery. In the last part of the path, we turn to the left and a short ascent follows on unsecured slope towards the summit.
