Access to starting point:
A little before Spittal from the direction of Beljak/Villach (on the old road) road towards the village Ziebel branches off to the left. In the mentioned village, we notice signs for an alpine road Goldeck Alpenstraße. The mentioned road, we follow to a large parking lot at an altitude 1885 meters, the price of road 12€.
Path description:
At the beginning of the parking lot right upwards a road branches off in the direction of the summit Goldeck. We go on this road which is closed for traffic (a gate) and it is moderately ascending on an unvegetated slope of the mountain. From the road which is moderately ascending and makes some turns, in the middle of one of them foot path branches off to the right towards the mountain hut Goldeckhütte. We continue straight (possible circular path) on the road which then quickly brings us on the upper slope of the mountain, where there is the next crossing. We continue right, where past the transmitter we ascend on a panoramic peak.
