Spodnje Sleme - Govca (Olševa)

Access to starting point:
A) We drive into Luče (to here from Mozirje or from Kamnik over mountain pass Volovljek (Kranjski Rak)), and then we continue driving towards Logarska dolina. In the village Solčava we leave the main road towards Logarska dolina and we continue driving right in the direction of Podolševa, mountain pass Spodnje Sleme and Črna na Koroškem. Further road loses an asphalt covering, and after few kilometers at the crossroad in Podolševa we turn right towards Črna na Koroškem. The road which is further mostly ascending diagonally, eventually brings us to mountain pass Spodnje Sleme. We park on an appropriate place on the mentioned mountain pass.
B) We drive to Črna na Koroškem (to here from Ravne na Koroškem or from Šoštanj over mountain pass Spodnje Sleme, and then we continue driving towards Luče. At first asphalt road, higher becomes a macadam and it brings us to the crossroad of several roads on the mountain pass Spodnje Sleme. We park on an appropriate place on the mentioned mountain pass.

Path description:
From the starting point on the mountain pass Spodnje Sleme we go on a narrow road following the signs Olševa. We at first walk on the road, and then blazes for some time lead in the forest, where for a very short time we continue on a forest path. The path then returns on the road, and we walk there approximately half an hour, or to a crossing on Zgornje Sleme.
We continue on a marked path in the direction of Olševa, and it quickly brings us to a pasture, by which we are then ascending. At first, we are ascending by the grazing fence, and then the path turns a little to the right and through the forest starts ascending even a little steeper. Further for quite some time, we are steeply ascending, after that when we come out of the forest a little below Lepi vrh (1616 meters), it flattens and passes on a gently sloping and panoramic ridge.
From Lepi vrh ahead we walk on a panoramic ridge and the path is gentle, so we can in peace observe peaks above the valley Logarska dolina and Robanov kot. Further, the path leads us over indistinct peak Odenični hriber (1863 meters) and a little more distinct Gladki vrh (1850 meters), where from the left joins the path from Podolševa.
Next follows a shorter descent and we get to a smaller saddle, where the path branches off to the right downwards towards the mountain hut on farm Kumer, and we continue straight in the direction of Govca.
The path ahead continues on the left, mostly south side of the ridge, where it crosses some even steeper and on two spots also exposed slopes (mainly in wet and snow dangerous for slipping). Further slope flattens a little, and the path a little steeper ascends. With nice views towards the mountains above the valley Logarska dolina we quickly reach some kind of side ridge, on which we ascend in few minutes to the main ridge of Olševa. Here the path turns to the left and after few 10 strides of additional walking brings us on Govca.
