Access to starting point:
Štore is accessible ideally with the help of railway. On the road...you leave the highway in Celje and practically in the center of Celje go towards Štore or Šentjur. You park the car near the railway station Štore, where there is enough parking spots available and there is also the beginning of the marked mountain path.
Path description:
The beginning of the path is at the railway station in Štore. We go over Voglajna, where a signpost immediately points us right in the direction of Svetina and then it goes soon straight practically through the area of an old Štore iron works. On the asphalt road, we continue in the lower part along Bojanski jarek to another crossing, where we continue straight, sign,,mimo Marije,,, left the path,,čez Žlajfo,,. Soon the road turns sharply left a little uphill, at the sports field in the settlement Pečovje flattens again, decades ago there was a coal mine and from here we can also follow the signs of the path Barbarina pot and after few terraced houses we turn left on the forest road which at the last homestead passes into a forest path. Soon the path branches off to the left,,through Bojanski graben,, and we continue right upwards through a dense forest and when the steepness decreases from the right soon joins the path from Celje and Teharje. We continue left on the forest road by two or three houses/holiday cottages and then we go once again left on a little narrower forest path partly also a cart track. The path is again a little steeper ascending and on the left side there are also some steel cables, more in the function of a fence than grip.
We soon reach the crossing. We continue straight upwards, there are also signs CPP or caption Srebotnik, while to the left leads the path to the chapel with the image of Mary into few ten meters carved wall of Srebotnik and higher on Svetina, Tolsti vrh, Veliki vrh... The path on Srebotnik is steep and somewhere on the halfway passes into a typical ridge path. Few ten meters before the peak, in bad conditions there can be demanding, mainly because of possible slipping, therefore the caution is recommended. We soon reach the peak with a bench, inscription box and with views, which reward the decision to go on this tour.
