Sveta Jedert (Lajše) - Sveti Mohor (Zabrekve)

Access to starting point:
A) From Ljubljana, we drive on the old road towards Kranj, and there we stick to the main road, and we follow it to the bridge over the river Sava. Just before the bridge we leave the main road and we continue driving straight in the direction of Besnica. Further, we drive through settlements Rakovica, Spodnja and Zgornja Besnica, Njivica, Nemilje to the settlement Podblica. A little above Podblica we get to a marked crossroad, where we join the road Dražgoše - Kropa. Here we continue sharply left (we can continue also right and then after 50 meters at the turning point we turn around) and on a narrower road we drive to the church of St. Jedert, where we park on a smaller parking lot nearby.
B) We drive to Kropa and from there we continue driving on the zig-zag road towards Železniki. At the settlement Jamnik the road flattens a little and then crosses relatively steep slopes towards the south. Further, left downwards the road branches off towards Podblica, Besnica and Kranj, and here we continue straight and on the road we drive to the church of St. Jedert, where we park on a smaller parking lot nearby.
C) First, we drive to Škofja Loka, and from there we continue driving towards Železniki, but we drive on the main road only to the settlement Selca, where behind the church we turn right on a local road, on which we start ascending towards the village Lajše. Above Lajše it joins the main road Dražgoše - Kropa, and we follow it right and we drive there to a smaller parking lot near the church of St. Jedert.
D) We drive to Bača pri Modreju, and then we continue driving towards Podbrdo and Železniki. In Železniki we turn left towards Dražgoše, and from there we drive towards Kropa. Only a little after from the right side joins the road from the village Lajše, we will get to a smaller parking lot at the church of St. Jedert.

Path description:
From the parking lot at the church of St. Jedert we continue on the asphalt road towards Kropa, and we walk there only few 10 meters and then signs for Sveti Mohor point us to the right downwards on a marked footpath which descends on the left side of an abandoned house. Lower, the path leads on a cart track, on which we quickly get to the chapel, where from the left joins the path from the village Podblica.
We continue straight and we mostly continue on a cart track, only for some time on a little steeper descending path. Lower, we reach the road which leads from the village Nemilje towards the village Selca, and we only cross it and we continue the ascent on a marked path through the forest, and it starts ascending. Next follow few crossings, where we carefully follow the blazes, and the path leads into a dense forest, through which we start steeply ascending. The path soon flattens and joins the next cart track, and on which we quickly reach an asphalt road. We continue on the asphalt road, on which with increasingly beautiful views on surrounding hills we get to a smaller hamlet, where signs for Sveti Mohor point us to the right on a cart track which starts ascending diagonally towards the right. Higher, the cart track turns sharply to the left, crosses a lane of a forest and brings us on the upper grassy slope. Here the path moderately ascends and with a view on the highest peaks of Kamnik and Savinja Alps on the left and on Škofjeloško hribovje, Jelovica, part of Julian Alps and Karawanks brings us to the spot, where there is the inscription box. From the inscription box follows only few 10 strides of a light ascent and we already get to the church of St. Mohor.
