First, we drive to Črnomelj, and then we continue driving towards Dragatuš and Vinica. Only a little after Dragatuš, we will notice a road sign for village Zapudje, which point us to the right on a narrower road which continues between the fields. Further, the road steeply ascends and it brings us to a smaller crossroad, where we continue right towards few houses. At the houses, the asphalt ends, and we continue on the macadam road, on which we quickly get to the church of St. Peter, by which we park on an appropriate place.
Path description:
From the church, we continue on a little worse macadam road, on which we soon get to a clearing, where there is a vineyard and next to it a vineyard cottage. Here the path returns into the forest, and we need to pay attention to the left turn-off (the path from the road branches off to the left only few meters before the nearby holiday cottage). We continue on a forest path, by which we notice signs GUP (forest learning path), and the mentioned signs we follow to the nearby ruins of the former church, in the middle of which stands a cross with Jesus Christ and on the lower part of the cross there are also the keys of St. Peter.
