Trnovec - Osolnik (by road)

Access to starting point:
From Medvode we drive to the village Sora, where we go towards the village Topol (Katarina). Soon ater the village Sora we come in the village Trnovec (rarely inhabited area). When on the right side of the road, we notice a macadam road and next to it signposts then we park. The parking lot is on the left side of the road.

Path description:
From the parking lot, we carefully cross the road and then we start ascending on a macadam road in the direction of log cabin Osovnik.
After approximately ten minutes of walking a footpath on Govejek branches off to the left. We continue on the road which after a half an hour of walking, it brings us to a smaller hamlet. Here the road makes a left turn and after few steps it brings us to a crossroad of two paths. We go on the right path (road) in the direction of the hunting cottage (we can also continue on the road, but then we bypass the hunting cottage). We reach it after a minute of walking from the crossroad.
We continue ahead past the cottage and the path soon brings us on the road which we left. A little further, the road brings us on a little bigger crossroad. We go on the most right road in the direction of Osolnik. Further, the road brings us to the signposts for log cabin right, but the footpath and the road already after few meters join. At the next signpost for log cabin we turn right on a footpath which in few steep strides it brings us to a log cabin (we can again continue on the road).
From the log cabin, we continue left on the road slightly downwards. After few steps, we again come on the road which we left before we ascended to a log cabin. The road then brings us to the next hamlet, where joins the road from the village Sora.
We continue left upwards to the signposts for Osolnik right. Then we go on a cart track on which cycling is forbidden. Cart track, which is ascending on a meadow we follow to the top on which stands a church.
