Tržič - Veliki vrh above Završnik (Milanova pot)

From highway Ljubljana - Jesenice we go to the exit Ljubelj (Tržič), then before the gas station in Bistrica pri Tržiču we turn right downwards, where we quickly come in Tržič. At the crossroad after store Mercator we turn left in the direction of Tržič museum, and then we drive on the road Koroška cesta, which we follow through the center of the town to the nearby pizzeria. Here we turn right through old yard door and then past the parking lot for guests of pizzeria, and children's playground we drive to the parking lot by the castle.
We can also park somewhere else in Tržič.

Path description:
From the spot, where we've parked, we at first walk to pizzeria, and then we continue on the asphalt road in the direction of Dobrča via Ravne and Kofce past Završnik. The road on which we walk soon splits, and this time we continue on the upper road (slightly left - Dobrča), which leads us past few more houses and a religious symbol (cross). Few 10 meters further from the cross, at the spot where there is a sign for speed bumps, we continue slightly right, on a side road on which we ascend to the nearby gardens. On a worse road we ascend above gardens, where the path leads us to a water supply structure, which we bypass on the right side. Above the water supply structure, the road finally changes into a cart track, and it passes into the forest, through which it is moderately to steeply ascending. Higher, a wider cart track, on which we continue turns left, and a little before it ends we leave it and we continue sharply right, on a well-beaten path Milanova pot. The path further is ascending in occasional hairpin turns and with occasional views, and then it brings us on a smaller saddle north from Kamnek.
We continue left (straight - Slap, right - Kamnek, sharply right leads the path which bypasses the peak of Kamnek and then descends into Tržič) and we start gently to moderately ascending on the ridge of Pirmance. When the ridge becomes quite steep, marked path turns left on a little less steep slopes, on which we continue diagonally towards the right. After few minutes forest gets a little thinner and the path returns on the ridge, which we reach right on a smaller saddle between the peaks Pirmance and Veliki vrh.
Here we leave the marked path which passes on the right eastern side of the mountain and we continue straight upwards on an unmarked, but easy to follow path, on which in 5 minutes of additional walking, we ascend on panoramic Veliki vrh above Završnik.
