Turracher Höhe - Grünsee (at Turracher Höhe) (3-Seen Weg)

Access to starting point:
A) Over the border crossing Ljubelj we drive to Austria, and then we follow the road towards Celovec / Klagenfurt. In Celovec at all crossroads we continue straight. When the main road turns firmly to the right, only a little further we leave it and we continue left in the direction towards settlements Lendorf and Feldkirchen in Kärnten. When we get to a highway junction, we go left in the direction of the settlement Feldkirchen in Kärnten. In the mentioned settlement we follow the signs for mountain pass Turracher Höhe. We park at the sign, which marks the beginning of the settlement Turracher Höhe. B) Through the Karawanks Tunnel, we drive to Austria, and then we continue on the highway A10 in the direction of Spittal an der Drau. Highway A10 we leave at exit Ossiacher See, and in the nearby roundabout, we choose the second exit in the direction Feldkirchen in Kärnten. Further, we drive on the road by the lake Ossiacher See. In the settlement Feldkirchen in Kärnten we follow the signs for mountain pass Turracher Höhe. We park at the sign, which marks the beginning of the settlement Turracher Höhe.

Path description:
From the parking lot by the main road, we continue on the macadam road in the direction of Grünsee. The road leads slightly up and down. At the crossings, we follow the signs for Grünsee. After 20 minutes we get to the north coast of the lake. The road right by the lake leads also to south part of the lake. The path is easy and well-marked.
