Vas (sports field) - Sveti Jurij (Remšnik)

Access to starting point:
From the road Maribor - Dravograd in the settlement Vas we turn right (from the direction Dravograd left) in the direction towards Remšnik. Further, we drive along stream Ehartov potok and we drive to the sports field, by which we park on asphalt parking lot on the right side of the road.

Path description:
From the parking lot, we continue on the asphalt road ahead, where we bypass snack bar Erjavec on the right side, and a little ahead we go also past the chapel. Few minutes higher the road splits, and we continue on the main right road which continues along the stream. Further, we still go past occasional houses, and a little after the turn-off of the road to the left towards beekeeping Krecenbaher, the road turns right and goes away from the stream. Next follows a diagonal ascent, and when we leave the forest a nice view opens up, which reaches all the way to Karawanks, where we see Uršlja gora and Peca.
Higher, the road flattens, and we continue left on the main road which descends a little. The path ahead leads us on a quite panoramic road, from which occasionally we already see the church of St. Jurij on Remšnik. Such a path then leads us through another hamlet, after which follows a shorter crossing towards the right. When the crossing ends, we reach a marked path, which we follow to the right (left - Kapunar and Sveti Pankracij). Next follows a really short descent past the chapel and we get to a crossroad, where we continue straight (to the left leads the road towards the settlement Brezno).
Next follows a shorter ascent and past POŠ Remšnik we reach the church of St. Jurij.
