To the valley of river Sopota we can come from Dolenjska or from Litija side. We went on the highway to Mirna and forward towards Radeče ob Savi. From Radeče we continued towards the valley of river Sopota. In the hamlet Zagrad on the right towards Litija we look for a blaze for Nebeška gora. It will be even better, if we ask the locals for directions.
Path description:
From the road, we turn right on an asphalt road which soon becomes a macadam. For some time we are steeply ascending. The macadam passes into a wide forest road. After approximately 20 minutes on the right side we notice a holiday cottage (Zagrad 21). We continue ahead into the forest. After a good half an hour from the cottage the forest ends and we come to a meadow and ahead on a saddle. Here we notice the village Čimerno with a church and we for the first time see Nebeška gora on the left side of the village. In the village we continue few ten meters on an asphalt road and then we turn on a village path, where we get to the information board. And from there to the top we have twenty minutes of easy walking on a well-marked path.
On the way: vas Čimerno (805m)
