A) First, we drive to Ljubljana, and then we continue driving on the road Celovška cesta towards Medvode. When we get to Medvode, at first traffic light we turn left across the railway track in the direction of Golo Brdo, Žleb and Preska. Behind the railway track we continue left (right Preska) in the direction of Medno, Golo Brdo and Žleb, after that a little further to the right (straight Medno). Only about 500 m ahead we get to the next crossroad, where at the beginning of the settlement Seničica we continue right (straight Golo Brdo) in the direction of the settlement Žlebe. When residential houses of the settlement Seničica ends we get to the forest, where at the crossroad we continue left towards the settlement Žlebe (also slightly right are signs for Žlebe - it is a circular road). Further, we drive on a slightly ascending road which we follow to a smaller saddle. On the saddle, we continue left on a macadam road which quickly brings us to the next crossroad, where we continue on the bottom left road. From the crossroad, by which there are also hiking signposts we drive only approximately 100 m, or to the left turn, by which there is a marked parking lot.
B) From Škofja Loka, Kranj or Vodice we drive to Medvode, from there we continue driving towards Ljubljana. At the last traffic light in Medvode, which is located about 100 m ahead from store Hofer, we turn right across the railway track in the direction of Golo Brdo, Žleb and Preska.
Path description:
From the parking lot, we continue on a cart track in the direction of Katarina, Jeterbenk and St Marjeta (left Petelinc), which continues on the left side of the stream. After few 10 strides we leave mentioned cart track and we continue right into the forest, where at first we descend to a stream which we also cross. On the other side for s short time we are still gently ascending, and then the path turns right and it ascends steeper. A little higher we get to a marked crossing, where we have two options to continue.
We can continue left in the direction of Jeterbenk or right on a good minute longer path past the church of St Marjeta.
If we continue on the left path we will quickly get to the next crossing, where another path towards the mentioned church branches off to the right. Here as well, we continue left, after that a little further on an unmarked crossing slightly right upward (left bottom path leads on Jeterbenk "on ridge" (of course path passes on the ridge a little higher)), where after a shorter ascent, we join the cart track which leads from the church of St Marjeta.
Further, we are ascending on a relatively wide cart track which leads us past the information board of archaeological site on Gradišče. Few minutes ahead, the path Roparskih vitezov (robber knights) branches off to the right, and we continue straight on a little more steep cart track. Just before the steepness decreases, the path Roparskih vitezov joins again, and marked path turns a little more to the left and over the ridge Turnice brings us on the western slopes of Jeterbenk. The path ahead leads us through a meadow, from which for some time a view opens up a little and then it returns into the forest and it brings us to a crossing at a chapel.
From the mentioned crossing, which is located by the edge of the forest we continue sharply left on a macadam road, on which we quickly get to a holiday cottage.
After the holiday cottage we continue on a steep mountain path, which ascends through the forest and which only few steps below the summit joins also the path from the mountain hut Slavkov dom on Golo Brdo and the path from Žlebe "on the ridge".
From the mentioned crossing, we continue left and in few steps we reach the peak of Jeterbenk, from which a nice view opens up.

Trip can be extended to: Sveta Katarina (Topol) ( 35 min) , Rog ( 40 min) , Sveti Jakob (1 h 15 min)
