Description of mountain:
Babni vrh (in literature also Babji vrh) is a vegetated peak, which is situated south from Celje and Štore in Posavsko hribovje. It is situated at the beginning of a common ridge of group of hills in the third row on the south side of basin Celjska kotlina, which starts on the eastern side with Babni vrh, continues with Ravnine and Ramanca (Planinski dom na Svetini), and ends on the western side with Tovsti vrh, where the ridge gradually disappears into Savinja. On the northwestern side of Babni vrh in front of it there are situated two guards from the second row of smaller hills, those are Veliki and Mali Bojanski vrh. Babni vrh doesn't have much of a view, it is vegetated with evergreen coniferous trees, the top doesn't have an inscription book or stamp, but on the nearby tree there is a sign of the peak (2021). A little below the summit, the view opens up on the eastern side towards Resevna, Rifnik, Boč, Donačka gora etc. The name of the peak is interesting, some believe, that it got it because of its gentle access from the south side.
