Description of mountain:
Col Rosa is 2166 meters high mountain, which is situated north from Cortina d'Ampezzo. From the top that has a cross is a very nice view towards the nearby Tofanas and through a valley of river Boite. On the mountain there is also a lot of military tunnels from the time of the first world war, some of them are also below the very top of the mountain. The mountain is well visited also because of interesting secured climbing path which leads on the mountain and because of relatively low altitude it is possible to visit it also in the early summer when on most of secured paths in the Dolomites is still snow.
