Komen

Description of mountain:
Komen is with 1684 meters the highest peak of Smrekovec mountain range, mountain range which borders between Štajerska and Koroška. From the top in good weather, a nice view opens up on Peca, Uršlja gora, nearby Krnes, Golte, Menina planina, main Kamnik Savinja Alps and Travnik and Raduha. Only few 10 meters below the summit, is situated also a smaller wooden chapel, which is dedicated to St. Cyril and Methodius.
