Krn

Description of mountain:
Krn is with height 2244 meters the highest peak of Krnsko pogorje, mountain range which is rising steeply above the main part of river Soča. From the top, on which there is situated a panorama board, a beautiful view opens up, which reaches from Adriatic sea, over Matajur and Stol to Kanin. On the northern and eastern side, a nice view opens up on the highest peaks of the Julian Alps. And in good weather, the view reaches even further.
