Lake Kočevje

Description of mountain hut:
Lake Kočevje (Rudniško jezero or Kočevsko jezero) is a lake which was formed after mine closure. By brown coal exploitation a hollow was formed, which was later filled with water, while the mine was operating they were pumping out the water which was flowing from the stream Rudniški potok,. Lake, which is considered one of the cleanest Slovenian lakes, is up to 40 meters deep.
By the lake, near the parking lot there is Ribič bar, and a little away also inn Jezero - Tušek.
