Mala Plešivica

Description of mountain:
Mala Plešivica, which is higher than the neighboring Velika Plešivica, is an exceptionally scenic peak west of the village of Golac, right on the border with Croatia. In good weather, a magnificent view opens from its grassy summit. It extends from the nearby Medvižica and Razsušica across the Kvarner Bay, Učka and the entire Istria all the way to the Gulf of Trieste. On the horizon, on clear days, the mighty peaks of Snežnik, the Kamnik-Savinja Alps, the Karawanks, the Julian Alps, and the distant Italian Dolomites stand out.
