Millstone quarry

Description of mountain:
Millstone quarry is situated on slopes of old castle Osterberg above the valley of the stream Besnica. The beginning of the extraction of millstones probably dates back to Roman times. The first time it was mentioned in the year 1567. On the slope there are several smaller quarries, and at the largest there is also a bench and information board. In the quarries we can also see few unfinished millstones. Past the quarries leads also the path Ostrovrharjeva pot.
