Patscherkofel is an ample and panoramic mountain, which is rising above Innsbruck, the capital city of Austrian state Tyrol. The mountain is among the most popular destinations in wider area, because we can ascend to the top in all seasons, to the altitude almost 2000 meters runs a cableway, in the winter on its slopes operates a popular ski slope, which among other things hosted also Olympic Games in years 1964 and 1976. Because of rounded shape and moderate slopes, the mountain is accessible from numerous directions, and at the same time, it is known as an outstanding vantage point, especially towards Innsbruck and the valley of river Inn, ridge Nordkette and Stubai Alps.
