Description of mountain:
Punta dei Ross is 2460 meters high peak in the mountain group Sorapiss. Like on other peaks in the mountain group also on Punta dei Ross doesn't lead a marked path. The peak is otherwise compared to most of the other peaks relatively easily accessible and is popular also among touring skiers. From the top, there is a very nice view towards the nearby Monte Sorapiss and other precipitous peaks in the mountain group.
