Rifugio Onorio Falier

Description of mountain hut:
Mountain hut Rifugio Onorio Falier is situated at an altitude 2074 meters in the valley Valle di Ombretta below the mighty south walls of Marmolada. From the mountain hut is a very nice view towards the summit Cima Ombretta and on the mentioned wall of Marmolada. The mountain hut was the first time built in the year 1914. During first world war was destroyed, after that was again built in the year 1939. Mountain hut has 44 mattresses and is usually open from 20th June to 20th September. In period when mountain hut is closed there is available winter room with 4 mattresses.
