Slavnik

Description of mountain:
Slavnik is a panoramic mountain, which is rising south from Kozina and west from Podgorje. Podgorje is a village, which is appropriate starting point for the ascent on the mentioned mountain.
On the summit of Slavnik there is panorama board and next to it a stamp. Only few steps below the summit there is a mountain hut Tumova koča na Slavniku, which was opened in the year 1957.
And a view from Slavnik is among nicer because in good weather, we see Adriatic Sea, Italian Dolomites, where the highest is Marmolada, part of Carnic and Julian Alps, where Triglav stands out and then over Karawanks to Kamnik and Savinja Alps. And nearby we can see Golaki, Vremščica and a little more distant Snežnik.
