Description of church:
Stiška vas is a small settlement in the Municipality of Cerklje na Gorenjskem, in the upper Gorenjska region. The village lies on a wide terrace south of Krvavec. Besides the village core with its church, the settlement includes the hamlets of Hribašek to the west and Škrjančevo to the east. The village church is dedicated to the Holy Cross and dates to 1751. Inside the church are the Stations of the Cross painted by Leopold Layer (1752–1828). The Stiška church was once a highly visited Lenten pilgrimage site. Every Friday during Lent, a procession came from Grad; nowadays, during Lent, Masses with the Way of the Cross are held every Sunday afternoon.
