Stol (1673 meters) is located in the longest ridge in Julian Alps. The ridge measures 25 km or 35 km, if we count also western part of it. From the top, on which there are some transmitters, a beautiful view opens up on Kanin massif, main Julian Alps, Krnsko pogorje, Matajur, Adriatic Sea, Breginjski kot and already before the mentioned ridge, where a look reaches to Breški Jalovec. The peak has a stamp and an inscription box.
