Sveta Lucija above Studenice

Description of church:
On the hill on the left bank of Dravinja above Studenice is situated the church of St. Lucija. Surroundings, mainly the eastern part is surrounded by vineyards of Dravinjske gorice. St. Lucija is a patron for eyesight and according the legend the church supposed to be set by Dominican sisters from the nearby monastery in thanks, for one of the sisters who after the loss of the vision again started to see. Today this church is part of parish Studenice and inside the walls, there is also a cemetery. The church has rich interior furnishings in Baroque style. There is a nice view towards the nearby surroundings and mainly on the nearby and higher Boč.
