Access to starting point:
First, we drive to Črna na Koroškem (to here we can come from Mežica or from Šoštanj and Velenje through the mountain pass Spodnje Sleme), and then we continue driving towards the valley Logarska dolina, Solčava, Pristava and Podpeca. In Pristava we go left and we continue driving towards the dispersed settlement Bistra. After a good 3 km of driving from Pristava, we will notice by the road a chapel, behind which we will come to a smaller crossroad, by which we notice mountain signposts for Raduha. We park on an appropriate place by the crossroad.
Path description:
From the starting point, we go on an ascending and at first still asphalt road in the direction of the mountain hut Koča na Loki and Raduha. Asphalt already after few steps ends, and we continue on a macadam road which we follow to a smaller crossroad, where slightly to the right, over a grazing fence narrow road branches off. We continue on the mentioned right road which right after a smaller wooden cottage changes into a cart track, on which we walk to the edge of the forest.
Here blazes point us into the forest on a footpath which is further moderately ascending on a cart track. Higher, the path brings us out of the forest on a larger clearing, where on the left side we bypass one more cottage. The path ahead returns into the forest, crosses a forest road and then it is ascending by the stream. After few minutes of walking by the stream, the path turns to the right and gradually goes away from a riverbed of the stream. The path higher turns a little more to the right, crosses few shorter viewpoints, and then turns to the left, where after few minutes of additional walking brings us to a forest road.
We go in the direction of Raduha and we continue on a gentle and worse forest road. We continue on the road for quite some time, and then it brings us to the mountain pasture Knezova planina or mountain pasture Bela peč.
From the crossing on Knezova planina we continue left in the direction of Koča na Travniku, Komen and Dom na Smrekovcu (right Raduha) on the path which starts moderately ascending through at first a thin forest. Occasionally worse beaten path is for some time still moderately ascending, and then it brings us on entirely overgrown slope, from which a nice view opens up on Peca and Golica. Above the overgrown, but panoramic slopes path returns into the forest and semicircular bypasses Presečnikov vrh. Ahead we for some time return on the ridge, where the path surrounded by numerous bushes of blueberries, gradually starts descending. Further easy to follow, but in the morning time often quite dewy path, eventually brings us to a smaller wooden fence, after which we go on a relatively new cart track. We short time continue on the mentioned cart track, after that when it turns a little downwards, we continue straight on a pleasant forest path, which after the grazing fence widens into an old cart track. The path ahead leads us past a smaller stream (by the path there is also trough with water), after which we soon step out of the forest on an ample grazing area of the mountain pasture Široka trata.
When we step out of the forest we continue left (straight Komen, right mountain hut Koča na Travniku 100 meters) and we continue the ascent through a gentle pasture. A moderately steep path higher passes into a lane of a forest and flattens even more. Next follows traversing usually rough terrain (after the rain mud) and the path out of the forest brings us on a swampy meadow, through which we lightly ascend to a poorly visible crossing. Here we continue straight (right Komen) and in 2 minutes of additional walking, we reach the peak of Veliki Travnik, in the middle of which stands a smaller wooden lookout tower.
On the way: Knezova planina (Planina Bela peč) (1350m), Koča na Travniku mountain hut (1548m)
